Teletubbies but make it fashion

A few months back, the Teletubbies Twitter page posted photos of the different characters holding their vaccine cards. This post blew up, and in the midst of reading all the hilarious reactions and comments, an idea hit me. What if I tried putting together a Teletubbies themed photo shoot? This got me super excited. Sometimes when I think of a creative shoot idea, my anxiety gets the best of me and I push it to the back of my mind. But something in me told me that I needed to do this. To hold myself accountable, I immediately started reaching out to models with my idea, and we had a group chat going within 24 hours. After spending a lot of time on Pinterest looking at both screen grabs from the Teletubbies (my suggested pins are a little crazy now) and other editorial photos for inspiration, we collected outfits and props (shout out to Buy Nothing Facebook groups!) and had our shoot. This was so incredibly fun and I even got emotional when I got home because it’s rare these days that I shoot just for the sake of shooting and creating art. I am so grateful to these wonderful models for going along with this wacky idea and I’m so inspired now to create more art.
